Press Release

While construction has been forging ahead on the new Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, over 30 artists have been braving the Texas heat to create Connections, a collaborative effort that celebrates the history, cultures and traditions. It is the intent of this meaningful installation to create an understanding and appreciation of the past, present and exciting future that this beautiful new bridge will help unite Dallas on both sides of the Trinity River.

With a proper understanding of city leaders, developers, West Dallas businesses and most important of all, its rich cultural mixture of residents who have called this area home for generations, this new bridge and art installation can help make for a meaningful and prosperous future.
