One of Lynn Bassler’s greatest pleasures is tending her garden. In the monotype series, “Layered Leaves” she explores leaf portraiture, using actual leaves as templates in the printing process. Among her first leaf subjects were the deeply lobed leaves on her Osborn Prolific fig tree which is featured below.

Myra Gantman focuses on the light and dark of the human soul. She uses both mythic and real creatures in the search of the often unanswerable questions. She received her Master of Arts degree from California State University Northridge and was an instructor there, as well as at the Young Artist Workshops at Otis College of Art, Los Angeles, and the Armory Center for the Arts, Pasadena.
