Brenda McKinney Diversity –Light versus Dark
Statement by Brenda McKinney: This installation delves into the psychological behavior of human relationships. It addresses the idea of the individual versus the collective identity and how this perspective affects the response one receives in various aspects of life. Through the use of garments I want to convey how the individual responds to the color of clothing. Every person has prejudices in some area of their life that determines the type of response one will have in any given situation. The situation I present in this installation is several colorful garments and one that is white and different.
