The gallery promotes the dialog among these artists and their collectors, and collaborates with other galleries and institutions. Located in the Fort Worth Avenue Development District, it is centrally located within three major art areas of the city: the Downtown Art’s District, the Bishop Arts District, and the Design District.
The gallery also offers its 3200 square feet for special events.
About The Exhibiting Artists
JOSHUA STONE
Joshua Stone is a Dallas-based, emerging artist who is becoming recognized nationally. He is currently exhibiting his collections in Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, and Denver. Haley-Henman presented two collections: “Reassembled Deconstruction” and “Typographic Redistribution” which were acclaimed by a broad spectrum of collectors. In our third consecutive exhibition, “God’s Hands”, Joshua is breaking new barriers of media and dimensions.
KAREN PILOTO
Karen loves color and being herself. She dazzled us during our past "Group Show" with her stunning ink on canvas paintings. Now she brings her passion and energy to acrylics and plexiglass. Karen uses plexiglass to give depth and light to color. By changing the degree of color saturation, she is able to vary the spectrum which reflects her visions of nature.
She is an exciting emerging artist, living in Dallas, and coming from the rich cultural heritage of Cuba. Born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, she migrated with her family to the United States at the age of fifteen. From her earliest memories, she was expressing herself artistically, and her parents nurtured her talent by giving her art lessons. Placing second in her first art competition at the age of nine, Karen is currently completing a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Visual Arts at the University of Texas at Dallas.
CHRISTOPHER LEE MARTIN
Christopher takes us on a journey of light, or lumia photography. He explores the use of light and how light utilizes space through the pictorial plane. These photographs of light are printed on "Dura Trans" and mounted on plexiglass.
His approach uses the concept of synaesthesia, the blending of the senses. By using white light, red laser beams, and light emitting diodes (LED) we enter a world of different perceptual experiences. Christopher will also present his use of video in these explorations of lumia.
Christopher presented his paintings in our Summer Series: No. 1, Primordial Dreamscapes. In this new exhibition, this emerging Dallas artist, demonstrates his depth of artistic expression in the media of photography and video.
