DALLAS, Texas (May 19, 2010)-- In celebration of Esther Ritz's solo show at The Chambers, Haley-Henman Gallery is pleased to announce, PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ, a benefit for Voices of Change at The Chambers on Saturday, June 26, 2010, 4-6 pm.

Voices of Change is the Southwest's premier professional contemporary chamber music ensemble. Since 1974 the Ensemble has hosted numerous composers, presented over 60 world premieres, produced 5 CDs, and was a finalist for a Grammy Award for Best Performance by a Small Classical Ensemble. Voices of Change received the ASCAP Award for Adventuresome Programming five times. Esther Ritz and Haley-Henman together will donate thirty percent of all sales of Ms. Ritz's works during this event to Voices of Change.

Esther Ritz's solo exhibition showcases eighteen paintings that dynamically express abstractions of color, movement, drama, and humor. Recently, Studio Visit Magazine selected two of her paintings, Lost Dreams and It's Not Being Red for a juried, 2010 Summer Edition. Haley-Henman is excited to be part of this event that brings together music and the fine arts, and applauds The Chambers' generosity and support of local artists and Voices of Change for their beautiful gift of music.

Tickets for this benefit may be obtained by the website: http://voicesofchange.org or at the door. The cost is $25 per person and includes valet parking and refreshments. Music will be performed by Helen Blackburn, flute and Drew Lang, percussion The Chambers is located at the corner of Jackson and Record Street, next to the Lawrence Hotel and the street behind the George L. Allen Court House.
